problem with my scanner

hi
i had my hp scanjet 3670 scanner and my hp 4215 printer installed into my computer.then the printer ran out of ink and i saw blue streaks on the saved
photo.i uninstalled the printer and used only the scanner and i still get the
blue streaks with the scanner as i did with the printer.why would this happ-
en with the scanner to and how can i fix it?i have a message at the hp web-
site but i thought id mention it here too.thanks
