Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Overall I'm very happy with this program, one thing frustrates the %$#@ out of me tho. Everytime I load new images by inserting the card, the program automatically assigns certain adjustments to the pictures. Example.. I insert the card with 200 completely new picture files on it, I open Essentials and it immediately places, lets say, 25 of the new pictures into the trash, to 15 others it assigns stars and to half of them it assigns a completely different white balance, just like that.

Why?

I use RSE and I've never had that problem. Maybe try to uninstall / reinstall it.

Ok I'll try that. It is SO annoying, it seems like whatever I have done to the previous batch of pictures is being assigned to the new batch of pictures. Crazy!

I know that you can have settings save on the 'clip board'...maybe that's the problem. Maybe there is a setting somewhere, so you can set the default to 'as shot' rather than clip board. I'm not sure.

I'll check, thank you. I really hope I can get this resolved, I love the program otherwise, I haven't found another one yet which I like as much.

Have you tried Lightroom yet? Adobe bought RSE and used it when they developed Lightroom. I think that will be the direction I'm going. Of course, RSE was a free download...Lightroom has a free trial but it's not permanent.

I used it on somebody else's computer once and liked it. To be honest, I don't even want to get the trial, cause I'd never be able to afford the full version anyways, so why punish myself.. :sexywink:
