On a serious note:
It's a nice shot. Nothing in-particular grabs my attention that would make me call it astounding. But its a well composed street photograph with subject matter that tells a story.

It is actually really well made all around. I can't think of a better way to compose this image (besides maybe taking a step back to the right so that the trees leaves and the window mannequins don't cross paths) and the subject matter tells a story about these kids hanging out at a mall. Each part of the image adds to the story and there's no single piece that if removed would make the image any better. The one thing its missing is interest; There's no decisive moment to capture my attention. It's a well made street photograph with a boring subject.

That's it.
That day was the only well composed photograph in the day that matched the requisites for the project.
It perfectly matches what I have in my signature (the red phrase). In this case taking a nice photograph was the goal and the kids were just a medium to the goal.
So I agree totally with you. Two kids under a coca-cola tree and that's it. Well done, but...nothing really to say through the photograph. If it wasn't mine I would have asked "what did you want to tell through this shot?"...but it was the only decent keeper of the day.
