Thanks, You are right, and the print does have better shadow detail, but the document scanner lost the blacks, and I can't get them back by raising the brightness digitally.

Hi. That's the biggest problem with scanning prints; we need better scanners.
If that Arista Edu 400 (FOMA 400), that is not bad. Nice DoF and I like your dog.
