Thanks. No, they're not HDR's. I was trying out a new PP look. Kind of like the Dave Hill look. Almost makes them look cartoonish.

Cute shots and cute kid!

I'm not crazy about your PP, but I've never really liked that look on children's portraits, so to each his own. The colors on the wagon, car and pumpkin look cool, but your son's skin just looks a little to weird to me.

The last shot would have been better if you had moved to the right and found an angle that didn't include the black car way in the background.

#2 is great! cute kiddo. i agree that the PP on the child's skin looks strange. on #1 it looks like he's wearing blue eyeshadow. other than that, i like them.

Is there any way you could leave the PP on everything but your son on #3? I like the effect on the old truck and the wagon but not on your boy.

Thanks all for the comments! This was kind of an experiment with the PP. I think it would maybe be better on a more grungy photo. My wife told me the same thing about his skin. I'll have to play with it and see if I can make it look better.

me too. His skin tone still looks a bit grey to me though. But great captures and your little man is sooooo cute!
