Pushing the limits

I don't usually go overboard with the processing but had a little fun with this one. Unfortunately there is some banding around the sun in the sky. I could probably re-process this and get rid of it, but again, this was more for fun than anything. Figured I would toss it up to share.

Looks pretty cool. I have added a paint effect to a few of my pictures with PS5 and they turned out pretty good.

That looks comic bookish, I like it a lot. What did you use to do that?

Looks pretty cool....just need to put a figure of Elvis in it some where and paint it on black velvet.

Haha, yeah its ridiculous. I really was just practicing shooting the sun rays but then started tinkering with this. This isnt my style, and would not go on my wall either. Just wanted to step away from my norm. Its actually a bracketed exposue at +3 and -3 stops blended in photoshop HDR. Some levels, saturation and sharpening added. Then I added a golden hour enhancer in Phototools and another effect that softened it up a bit and added some sort of contrast mask.

it's cool... i wouldn't consider it a great "photograph" but as graphic art it's got a cool look!
