Quail Chick

[MissMia]

I really need a bigger better lens and to wash the windows! Here is a little quail chick, he's only a couple days old. They are so cute at this age.

Thanks for looking!

I love these little guys, but I swear they are suicidal. They always seem to dash across the road in front of my car at the last minute. I'm thankful I haven't creamed a brood of them yet.

I really like the image -- he looks sooooooo forelorn. You might consider cropping out a bunch of the left side.

He has the "Mommy, can I have some more, please?" look to him.

Cool capture. Will they hang around your place long enough so we can see the evolution to freedom?

Aww, I want one.

P.S. Anyone remember Quail Man from that cartoon show, Doug?
