The longer I looked at it the more I liked it, but I still think its slightly bright. If it were me I would have cropped it a little wider. But then again I don't take landscapes very often. I think its a little over done.

Overall, I spent like 10 minutes looking at it so it can't be that bad lol

thanks for the comment, i have a bigger version not cropped as much but i could not decide between the 2 of which one i like better

I prefer the longer shoreline in the second image. I like the shoreline and quarry structures but the sky color and the clouds bother me. For me they do not look natural and draw my eye away from the subject.

Thank for the comment the sky does look over saturated, i get carried away with that sometimes. I brought it back down in this one

Slightly bright and sky a tiny bit oversaturated. Otherwise, great photo!!

Yep, far too heavy on the PP, the peir has a weird blue colour cast to it as well. Composition wise its ok, but the whole photo looks a bit flat to me. I'm not sure if its the lighting or a lot of competing styles or lack of a cental focal point or theme or what: mibbie someone else with a bit more experience can tell you why better, but to me it says "here is a peir!" To which I reply "yep".
