Question about a lens for Nikon D5000

[Natural_Disaster]

I just need to know if i spend money on the sigma 70-300mm lens will i get further reach than i do with the 55-200mm dx? And will the quality be worth it? Im still new to all this and havent learned all the technical stuff.

Ok i understand i probably look crazy trying to find something good for a cheap price, but im still looking...can someone take a look at this one and let me know what they think? http://www.adorama.com/NK70300AFGR.html
I understand AF will not work with my camera..but that shouldnt be a problem. Unless someone can point me in the direction of one that does AF with the d5000.
Thanks again...sorry for being so much trouble.
