One of my friend's little sisters (she's 21 or 22 now) is a model/beauty pageant type of girl, and I thought it would be fun to go out and shoot some winter shots with her

So, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a winter sort of feel modeling shoot

everything will be outside, so i'm thinking fur, boots, trapper/beanie hats, etc...

Some examples of what I had in mind are

Does anyone have any other ideas?

I live in a town of about 40,000, we have a river with a big flood wall and riverwalk that i'd like to incorporate and some neat old buildings

Thank you!

Take a wintery, snowy scene. Add one part pretty girl with one part modern, attractive winter fashion. Add in one part medium to long telephoto lens and one part good, solid makeup. Mix with some decent light from nature or strobes or reflectors, or all three (to taste). Stir. Work the mixture until it begins to become tiresome. Voila!

lol thanks for the input lol

I'm not sure how to "create" a wintery scene with no snow lol (it sure is cold enough but no snow)
Attractive girl - Check
Winter Fashion - Check
Telephoto lens (Nikkor 70-200 mm f/2.8 VR I) - Check
Makeup - Check
Decent Light - Well I'm wanting natural light and we'll be on the east side of the flood wall to start in the early morning, I hope it comes in well, who knows it may be overcast and dreary at the best sunny part of the day
I don't know if I want to mix the sb-600 in or not, would that give it a bit of "unnatural" feel, or can I bounce it off a concrete wall enough?

Does anyone have any examples that are just full of the WOW factor?

i say 6" of snow and a bikini. please post pics when done. :D
