Question for Apple computer and iPod owners...

I tried a screenshot of a video I shot with my digital camera and it would not do it right. I tried several Windows machines - all with the same result. I gather at the time it was some kind of copy protection. They might have removed it now.

You probably just have 3D acceleration turned on. Most screen-grabbers will miss an OpenGL screen blit.

It's not protection. It's just how the system layers. Mac doesn't seem to have that problem though. :D

I disagree. I have one with:
  • 2-seg TV tuner,
  • RF TV tuner,
  • A recording Microphone,
  • a touch screen,
  • a 3MP camera + video,
  • installable software,
  • Full image 800x450 internet browsing,
  • slightly smaller than the iPhone
  • a telephone,
  • Alarm clock,
  • oodles of bundled software!
  • MIDI capability,
  • Supports 6 or 8 different music file formats,
  • GPS tracking - disableable,
  • world map location,
  • a full QWERTY physical slide-out keyboard,
  • blue-tooth,
  • wireless 802 something or other LAN,
  • a one week battery life,
  • 4GB removable storage (optional and expandable),
  • 512 MB internal RAM,
  • Auto-Sync with 3 different music player systems,
  • XviD and DivX movie player,
  • Price: $0 (but you have to subscribe to a service for at least one year at $10.00/mo. to get it so I guess it's $120.00 in reality. If you don't renew the subscription you lose the 2-seg TV, the GPS, the world map the internet and the telephone but everything else works.)

But iPods are good too. :D
