Question on shooting crepuscular rays

Usually for a situation like this your best bet is using a tripod and taking two pictures, one w/ the exposure set for the sky/sun/background and one w/ the exposure set for the foreground. Then, you can blend them using a mask layer.

That being said, I actually like the first one. For shots like that I don't mind the overexposure of the sun/background.

Thanks colnago, I am happy you like the overexposed shot. I am using iPhoto to edit, and I dont think I could layer with this program. I will read about what you are describing, thank you for the info.
Yesterday was gorgeous out and not too cold.
