Question

So I'm thinking about starting up a new webpage. I want to put my pics up on it, and do some various other things as well. Anyway, what would you all recommend for a decent free webspace? I had a page a long time ago and used angelfire, it was okay. Basically I need something easy to operate for my computer illiterateness...and also it must be FREE So hit me with the suggestions please!!!

Oh and something with a low amount of pop up ads and such would also be great. If there is such a thing!

If you actually want people to visit your page, you should really try to find something with no pop ups. For a lot of people, one pop up and they're gone, never to return...

I know that...I have webspace...I could perhaps creat and host your site...but...perhaps....if yah want.

Pop ups are a norm with free webspace. I used Geocities years ago but it sucked then. yahoo offer better stuff now and all the software ya need to build a site, but Im sure they have popup and the like. I'd advise buying yer own domain name and build yer own website. Bravenet.com offers a good package for about $80 a year for domain and hosting plus FTP uploading. That's who I use.

Thanks for the info guys...and especially to Arty for such a kind offer. I think I am going to try and use a free geocities site for now through yahoo...and I will see how well I keep it up before buying into it. I get these grand ideas in my head...and then that's about all they end up amounting to. However if I enjoy it, I will definitely look into purchasing space with no ads of course!
