quick question

I have a chance to get a bogen 3001 tripod with a 3047 head , is this any good? i have a nikon d3100 and do mostly nature photo's , what is it worth as a package deal

I wouldnt pay a lot for it, I have the legs they are older, but do the job ok. The head, I am not familiar with, but I looked at a google image its a 3 way pan/tilt. I would say it's better (more sturdy) than most of what you will find at Best buy. I wouldnt pay over 75 for them though. Its going to be a little clunky for nature walks.
