quick shots on mother's day of our daughter

so we took our daughter to my parents for mothers day. this shoot didn't work out like i wanted, had a spot picked out full of yellow flowers we passed last weekend on some backroads... got to it... and ofcourse there was a huge no trespassing sign with "violators will be prosecuted"... with my job, we didnt take a chance. so i broke out the camera at my parents and i fiddled around. i know the cropping on some is bad, but i was trying my best to get her in moments and wasnt focusing on composure very much, i got to work on that

I suggest that you allow editing so you can get some ideas how to to crop to improve the composition.

I would crop this one this way.
I think the others are good family shots but with composition problems that cn't be cured by cropping.

yea, like i said in my OP. i do realize that. i like the crop you did, i specifically did the oblong crop for a tall frame we have in our bedroom in the original post on that pic. the others i just wanted to share since it has been a while since i shared pix of her. thanks.

I hate it when I find an awesome location on private property. It would be great if there was an app that could tell us the name and phone number of all land owners.
Anyways, I noticed that the dof is very narrow in all of these shots and the pictures are a touch grainy when zoomed in. In the first image, for example, the roses in front of her face are out of focus. I think you pretty much nailed the focus on the girls eyes (except the one of her squatting on the grass) but when the mother(?) is closer to the camera her face is out of focus as well. You have lots of light (iso 800, 1/8000) so why not lower the iso for a clearer image and narrow the aperture for slightly more depth of field?
