Quick strobist portrait

Hey all, took a quick picture of my friend Canary last night.

7D, 50mm, 1/250, f/5.6, ISO 100
YN-560II up and angled towards him inside a photoflex small litedome.
(I wish I had something with me for a hair light)

I rather like this; I think it works well and I'm not sure that a hairlight would have improved things; I like the way the white piping on the baseball hat is highlighted.

Don't you mean a cap light i would like a bit more exposure

I like the character of the lighting. I typically prefer portrait orientation for portraits, but the landscape works OK here. Not crazy about the "inverted S-curve" contrast treatment.
