rainy day in my boring uninteresting part of Florida... (for the post a few days ago)

There was a post a few days ago about not living in a "photographic" area....

Here is my take on a regular street in my neighborhood.

It rained all day today, poured. Well the rain let up for about an hour and I took the kids outside for a mini session.

Pretty much can not get any more uninteresting then this background, but I think I found a way to make it work.

Would love CC on all of these, if you so choose. I shot them with my D90, 85mm 1.4

Most are at ISO200, F2.8, and 1/500

Shame it's landscape, my only niggle. Leaves not enough space above her head for me.

Nice images - it never ceases to amaze me how much fun little kids can get out of a puddle of water... and Pensacola - don't you have some good bird photography sites - if you are into that sort of thing - well maybe not when it is pouring rain(?).

Great job! I don't care for the treatment you've done on the images. The darks are too dark and makes it feel a little burned. I would go for a brighter treatment without over saturating the colors.

#3 stood out to me as well, and I even like the crop. It looks to be leaning a little.

I agree. I think I upped the blacks a tiny too much.... but oh well. just the kids, good thing is it will rain again and I will have them do it again! lol
