...agree the saturation, especially in #3, does seem to be cranked just a tad high.
...as mentioned, they seem distractingly over-processed.
Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I listened and worked on all of the images some more. They may still be a bit off, but I will try to ease up on the vibrancy of my pictures going forward. I re-uploaded to my server and that changed #s 2 & 3, but wanted you to see what I did to the first picture that most of you liked best. I didn't like that one best because I used the wrong technique to minimize the blown-out sunlight coming through the trees. Below is the original and then below that is my edited version. Again, not perfect, but better, in my opinion. This was the only one from the first day - the frustrating one. Anyway, I hope you will agree that the saturation levels are better (you'll have to go to post 1 to see #2 and #3). Here's #1 before and after:...as noted by others, somewhat more saturated to my tastes.
