These two are 22 years apart. Same guy. Feel free to comment on anything. I'd like to improve. These were all taken on a Nikon D40. looking to upgrade soon, as I feel like I have outgrow this camera.
Love the texture in the first one. I'd like to see more of the trumpet player's face. I'm not getting a lot from that angle. Maybe it's just because his shoulder is blocking part of his face.
My photo buddy said he liked that particular picture of the trumpeter, but I have another one I like better. it's stuck in B&W forever because I wasn't shooting in raw.
I'm terrible with photoshop however, so I can't edit out the microphones and make it look convincing. anyone can feel free to do it for me, haha.
i want to see closer look on the skyline paint job please. Send me the good resolution. I will photoshop it out for you if you let me use it on my portfolio (i will put your name on the credit of course). That trumpet shot is great! I like the first best because at the second one it doesn't look like he is playing. He is also moving out of the frame. If you want to see some awsome jazz photography, do a Google search on William Claxton. I am a big fan. Oh, and that is not a trumpet but a flugelhorn
Thanks for the props on the flugelhorn picture! The only reason I took the BW one like that was to get the Nashville sign in the background. Schwetty- here is some more of the Skyline.
