So I'm in Chicago on business and took a few minutes to take some pictures during lunch. I had managed to get a few of the buildings and then was taking some of the Harold Washington Library when a woman came up and started talking about the architecture.

We made some small talk, and she asked me if I was a photographer. I said that I was an amature photographer, and she looked a little confused. She asked if I wouldn't mind taking a few pictures of her.

This was somewhat ackward as I was using my 70-200 IS II with the 1.4x attached but I agreed. I had to walk back about 12 feet and pull in the zoom as far as it would go (92mm with the extender!)

Anyways, here are the pictures. I did some cropping and converted a couple to BW. Looking at them now I realize I have some shadow issues, but at the time I was just trying to get a few shots before the traffic light changed and she moved on. After I got off about 6 frames she asked to see them, gave me her email and walked off. She was very nice.

now that's a first, she asked you to take her portraits? lol, did she give you an email to send her a few?

Yes, I emailed her all of the pictures (edited and not). It was too bad she smoked, more for her health. I'm married, and was really just trying to take some pictures of downtown. She was very nice though. Thanks for the comments.
