Rare sunny warm day here in the UK

So I decided to get a smaller lens out 70mm f2.8 macro to be precise- see what's about and to utter surprise I found a large Grass snake ( none venomous) in the wood pile at the bottom of my garden

I had to get a record shot- so not my best work but I think its acceptable for some media I sell to ( watermarked for copyright)

Sony a9 + Sigma 70mm f2.8 ART lens

Nice shot of a beautiful snake, Lez. I rarely see them myself; I only have one pic of one, a blue or black racer I believe. I might redo it and put it up since pics of snakes on this site are rather rare, also.
