Raven?

Actually I don't really know if this is a raven or not. My knowledge of birds is practically non-existent. I never imagined to branch out to start taking pictures of wildlife but I just couldn't help myself when this guy/girl practically offered itself for a capture.

Based on the beak, I'd say it is, 'though without a frame of reference for size, it's hard to tell.

If you saw it flying, there is one definite way to identify a raven vs. a crow. Crows have fan-shaped tails while ravens have wedge-shaped tails, that is they appear to have more of a point to them, crows do not.
