I normally try to avoid accidentally lopping off the top of a person's head, but if it's a deliberate choice, it can be done. It's a matter of intention. I did not specifically lighten up the eyes, like with a dodge or adjustment brush, no. I just made a few "global" exposure changes, and I noticed that it changed the facial skin tone, and brought it "down" to a bit lower contrast point. I made a very, very, very tiny adjustment to the curves, but it made a significant change in how bright the eyes turned out.
I REALLY like the technical quality on your headshots: f/7.1 for the win!!!! (I love f/7.1 for headshots!)
