So I did look at this picture again and I agree that there were some unnecessary blue tones to it. So i found the original and lightened up the picture since it seemed a bit dark.

The light looks pretty dynamic considering the time of day (probably mid-day) that this shot was taken. There is good detail in the clouds and the sky, but the processing is not working for me. The light modulating shadows on the ground could be emphasized with different processing techniques.

How is the sharpness at full size? Here, the shadows (trees) look muddy and lots of lost detail.

The sharpness is better at full size. For some reason I cant post greater than 2MB on here, so I had to reduce the image size, which can be bad and show poor image quality. I am going to try and bring the color up a little more on the trees but because of the shot... the trees turned darker.

The best way to present images on this forum is FlickR. Their reduction sharpening algorithms are the best, and you allow members here to go over to FlickR and view the images against a black background at a slightly higher resolution, which can make a world of difference.

OP, in all honesty, you will get more input, good advice and benefit if you would allow editing of your posts. It's entirely up to you, but it is often easier for someone to "show" you something rather than just "tell" you.

very true. I just changed it to where my photos are OK to edit.

I edited your picture in LR4.
Added a little Clarity, Vibrance and Sharpness. I think it helped bring out detail in the rock, but couldn't do much with the trees even with local sharpening.

Sweet! whats LR4? yeah theres not much anyone can do with the trees.... unfortunately

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 - LR4 - is PIEware. Lightroom's Develope module (editing module) cannot edit pixels because it is a parametric image editor (PIE).

Adobe Photoshop CS 6 Camera Raw and Lightroom 4's develope module both use Adobe Camera Raw 7 (ACR 7).
