Hey everyone,
I freakin' love forums. I'm a member of so many.... So anyway today I decided to take a leap of faith. I've had a Nikon L110 for a few years, loved it but it was always not quite what I wanted. Today I talked my hubby into buying me a Nikon D3200. Maybe not the best on the market, but I'm sure hoping it will do me justice. I"m an amateur, but I really love taking photos, not just for the content, but for the artistic value, which I think gets lost in the digital age. So my objective isnt to be some grand proffessional photographer, or to open a studio like it seems any doofus with a camera is doing (at least in my area) My objective is to learn how to use this nifty piece of technology and enjoy it while producing some great shots.
About me....Name is Summer, for real, and I live in a small town in Pa. I am a Farmers insurance agent, I rescue dogs, breed fish, raise kids, teach baton twirling, and sometimes, when the planets align JUST right...I get a moment of free time when I can relax.
I have SO many questions, and I hope that this is a good forum for that. I hate joining forums where the more experienced members treat the newbies like they are the scum on the bottom of the bucket, ya know? Well any way, hopefully I'll be here reading and learning, and posting eventually. I'm actually kind of excited to take part in some contests when I feel ready.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
