I was just killing some time, shooting around the house when I noticed that I have stuck pixels on the CMOS sensor.

I took a picture with the lens cap on and there were a bunch. Then I did the sensor cleaning with the camera facing the ground and did it again. This time, some of the dimmer ones are gone but there are still a few really bright ones.

Can someone please offer some advice? I just picked up my kit lens from the service center yesterday, I'd hate to need to go back.

There are three bad ones, Blue on the left middle, and a green and red on top middle.

Here's the full raw file:

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Interesting... if I use iso 100, ai servo mode, and 1/20 shutter, there are not stuck pixels.

It must be the iso 400, plus longer shutter times and some combination of those noise reductions options that were causing the noise.

THREAD CAN BE DELETED.

It is not neccesarily a stuck pixel so much as hot pixels, look to see if the XSi has long exposure NR.
