This is the couple that I will be shooting a wedding for in September. They are a very photogenic couple. Enjoy.

These are lovely. The third one rocks.

While I know shallow DoF is great for separation, in two and four it makes the OOF noses look HUGE!
The noses remind me of Alice the Goon, from the old Popeye cartoons.

Haha bitter. Take out liquify tool!

Yup, #3 rocks. I'm not keen at all on the horizontal framing on any of the other photos.

HAHA! I didn't even notice that! That's great lol. Thanks for the compliment.

Thank for the compliment, Derrel. Although I posted a few horizontals there are plenty more verticals.

I used my friends D700 and 85 1.4 for most of these shots and now I am completely spoiled!

Here is a public Facebook link if anyone would like to see a few more.

Thanks, Derrel. Here are a couple more verticals. These are uploaded from my iPhone.

2 and 4 are kinda cool. havent seen anyone do that before. 1 seems too posed. Who holds their lover like that? in three the drip he is using to hold her up does not flatter her. it looks difficult. did he really need the locked grip? him holding her with just his hands would have made her seem lighter and him more manly. here it looks like he is working harder to not drop her.

I don't know if shooting from up above worked with the female subject , worked well with him simply because of the broad shoulders with her you should have captured more of her body to balance out the photo. Im also going with #3 as your best out of the set. Good work :)

Agreed; I haven't commented on these yet, because most people were loving them lol. I agree that, a basic understanding of posing and compenstating for subject flaws is in order. In particular, this female's nose should never be shot in a profile.
