Haven't posted in awhile, so I figured I would post some of my recent model photos! Comments and critique are welcome, but I ask that you do not edit any of these photos as they are already "done" and sent off to clients.

Dude... good stuff! I like them all except 5, 6 & 8.

5 I think you put the flash on the wrong side
6 & 8, I dont like the processing.

I like 1 & 2 best.

I love the execution on number one. Great look. The whites read as white. Very nice composition.

Thanks for the compliments and critiques.

Some specific items:

#5 - I couldn't put the flash over there, it was a VERY cramped arcade!

The colored bricks were done in photoshop!

Great photos but I'm not keen on the processing. They've got too much of that HDR feel to them.

PLEASE DON'T! It's perfect as it is. Not all girls are the same shape y'know, and frankly this girl is smokin' just as she is!

I love these shots, except for #6, which I think is waaaaay over done on the HDR giving it that awful glow around the subject and the positively radioactive sea behind her! I also think the composition of #7 is a little dodgy, she also has that dark shadow over her front which kind of stops the 'pop' that the others have. Lastly, there is too much space over #4's head.

All the others are spot on in my opinion. So much so, in fact, I may have to put this thread in my secret bookmarks folder...

#1 - Love it

#2 - Ill-fitting bra, and there is a weird gradient thing going on with the background. Otherwise quite like the pose. Little more light on her face would be good.

#3 - Love it, very cheerful

#4 - Like the idea but not the execution. the lighting is poor (esp. the shadow of her nose across her face). The pose is too 'flat' looking.

#5 - Nice playful shot. Like the backlight.

#6 - Weird, weird processing on this. Looks like a whole lot of dodging that has gone too far creating halos and a very unnatural (and not in a good way) appearance.

#7 - Cool shot, something a bit different. A bit more room on top would help though.

#8 - Like the idea, the model and the pose, but again the processing is just off on this. Similar to #6.

#9 - My favourite of the bunch. Absolutely love the sun flare lighting and vintage processed look. Model is perfect for this, and I love the balloons. I even like the tilt and the fact you cut half her head off, it just works. Also love the little blades of out of focus grass in the foreground.

Also totally agree with this; she is cash. I love a nice set of hips, and she'd probably be offended if you tried to make them smaller! But I maintain that her bra is a terrible fit, she would be better just taking it off

I agree about the ill-fitting bra. It is always better just to take it off!

Can you explain how you did the colored bricks and the vintage look? I'm a noob to this stuff and would find it really helpful Awesome pictures I love them!
