Seems to me like a somewhat awkward crop.

I would have either gone more and included the hands, or less and cropped at the elbows.

Did you consider doing some restoration on this to get rid of the blemishes and such. Of course I don't know what it looked like originally so perhaps the title tells the story?

This one is fully captivating to me, in all its imperfect glory. I hope you don't change a thing or retouch it, Lew. It's fully compelling with the mystery of what is going on; there is tension, and the disheveled appearance of the subjects, combined with that direct look, is wonderful.

If you made it all pretty it would lose some of its punch. A worthy save.
