I've been printing for many years and encountered a new problem: properly fixed and washed resin-coated Ilford prints have been developing light brown stains after drying. I don't think it has to do with fixing and washing. Can paper stored in a humid environment be susceptible to this problem? Thank you!

Other than not being fixed and washed correctly, age of paper and/or heat/humidity can play a role in yellow/brown stains. I always use fresh fix and wash my RC prints for around 5 mins (Ilford says 2 min but not longer than 15 min).

Thanks for your helpful comments. Actually, the paper is several years ago which I had stored in a freezer. I'll order some new paper and try again. Thanks again
