Good photo of a bird I never heard of. I looked it up and it's pretty much confined to the Pacific Northwest.

Don't have them here either, just the yellow-bellied ones, and they look totally different.

This is a wonderful photo of one, sharp, nicely composed--and how kind of it to situate itself in foliage with those lovely complementary red berries?

Thanx all. Sharon, the tree is Mountain Ash and the birds are attracted to the ripe berries, so hope other species will also appear.
