Red-shouldered Hawks

[Hunter58]

Spotted this one on the top of a tree

While trying to line up with the sun for a better shot it flew into some large oak trees in a dense forest area, I followed and found it. It was quite shady in there.

While shooting the first one another one flew into the same tree but on the other side. The best I could do was to shoot it through some vines as I couldn't get any closer.

A little while later one of them flew out and I got this shot, I was pretty far away by this point.

Nice set, I really like #3. I love hawks and raptors...sharp photos!

Very nice! I know many will disagree, but I like #4. Partly for the difficulty factor, but mostly because it shows the hawk the way you would be more likely to see it, or actually not see it.

I definitely like the #3. It shows some environment...instead of just being a portrait. Nice work.
