I am a first year Falconry apprentice and this is my Red-tailed hawk Zelda snapped a few pics of her though I'd share

What a beautiful Falcon. The best of everything owning her.

Shot #1 I would have preferred to see the entire bird. Picture #2 with the crop you decided on, I would have stayed with the portrait mode, that would have left unwanted space to either side of the Falcon. And Picture #3 if by far the best. Great facial features, and eye contact. The only thing I would have done differently is leave a little more space between the top of the head and the top of the photograph. Exposure is dead on, on my screen.

All in all, 3 very nice portraits of a magnificent bird.
