Nice shooting! You captured a very regal posture in the first one. A chatterbox in the second one.

These birds have flooded the zone lately - in our backyard at the feeders, across the street and all over my neighborhood. They start showing up like this, hungry and in huge flocks, every year. They're very nice in their interactions with other birds: definitely not bully birds like some others.
