Redtail on a very blustery day

one of those wet cold days where the wind blows right through your clothes. I'm a fair weather photographer, the dog and I quickly left for the heater of the car.

Wonderful set! I still don't know how you get those... #1 is almost an optical illusion... the clouds could be above it or below it...

Nah, it's the lens pointed up, maybe 45 degrees, with the bird against the sky. He was actually playing in the wind. This was the little guy who got picked on by all the other birds. He got big. I don't think they're messing with him much anymore
