Grey cold morning- not much wildlife about, so I shot the reeds instead :)

Sony a9 + Sony 600mm

f4- 1/500th sec ISO 1000

Does it work as a landscape type image? If nothing else it gives some very shallow dof :) :)

Well done. A 600mm can be a versatile lens.

I think it looks pretty good and the dof is nice. I've taken similar shots with my 600, it does a good job for close up, landscape shots, such as this but what I really love for close up LS shots is my 70-200.

Thank you I agree- I sometimes use my Sony 70-200mm f2.8- for close up stuff But I was out looking for wildlife when I shot this and I love what can be achieved at f4 Plus It was the only lens I had with me :)
Nice composition. I like the colors.
Thank you Pete :)

Not so much using my 600mm but the shallow DOF at f4 is what made me like this shot :)
Very nice!
Thank you Jeff :)
