Reflection in eyes

Okay, so I'm wondering what's the trick to get an EXCELLENT reflection in an eye when you take a picture? How do you not focus on the eye, but the reflection within it?


Sorry this isn't a post with a picture since this is a gallery, but it seems the most fitting place for the post since it's where everyone shoots people.

by reflections do you mean the bright white catchlights, or reflections of things sourrounding the person?

Sorry for being in the wrong place. I've been a member for a while and didn't think reflections in the eyes were something beginners would be worrying about if I don't know it by now. You all are the professionals of the forum so I wanted you see my question. Not the beginners. haha

The secret is good lighting, a good macro lens, and in the case of the last one I suspect, good photoshop skills.
