Anyone else here really like taking reflection photos? I have a final project for my college class and we had to pick a theme of our choosing to shoot photos for. I chose reflections. I'm going to post up my favorite shot, feel free to critique and offer pointers for a beginning student!

This photo has a reflection, yes, but it doesn't have an emphasis on that reflection. Looking at this photo, I would assume that the subject was the gazebo, not the reflection. Just something to keep in mind! :)

sure thing, Thanks for the input! I was going for just general reflection and yes the basis was on the gazebo.
I'll share this one too haha.

Have you tried shooting reflections in windows? Some really cool effects can be gotten, especially when its an old wooden framed multipaned window.

Yes I got some pretty good window reflections from some of the buildings downtown.

I like it. Was it windy that day? The water looks like it was moving pretty good. That was my issue when I was out shooting, the wind was up too high until later in the day when I got that first shot up there.
