This is Remington. He's our new (to us) fur baby. He is a shelter pet, a black lab/chow mix. He's pretty awesome. One of my goals this year is to do a true pet portrait with him.

For having that much grey around his muzzle, it looks like he can still do a pretty good job with the puppy-dog eyes!

Believe it or not, he's only 4, or at least that is what his previous family told the pound. I think the little bit of chow has brought out some of his "grey hairs". The AKC said something about lab mixes having grey hair around the muzzle. Dunno, could be a crock of dog doo doo.

But yes, he won me over with his puppy-dog eyes.
