Which remote are you looking for, the one for the D70?
If so, I had a tough time finding one as well and I ended up finding some on Ebay. Paid less than the regular price for it, it was brand new and the guy even included an extra battery with it. So, if you haven't already, I'd highly suggest searching for them on Ebay.
