remving noise programme

I was tlaking to the woman photographing my sisters wedding on Saturday and we started talking about noise etc. I said that years ago I used a free programme which was really good but couldn't remember what it was called. Can anyone reel off a list of them in the hope it'll jog my memory.

Also, are there any out there still? I said I'd pass on the name of anythong good.

I like it too. I downloaded the trial versions of Neat Image, Noise Ninja, and Noiseware. They all did a pretty good job, but I liked the controls of Noiseware Pro the best.
