Reproduction

Hey,
I need to reproduce a famus photo by "albert renger-patzsch", glasses. And I was wondering if you guys would know how to do it properly. I tried it myself, but had problems with lighting, If anyone could help me that would be great. thx

How about 1)buy the needed glassware and then 2)place and arrange it on a table covered with 3)white paper and then 4)back-illuminate it with a single, hard source of light and 5) photograph the resulting shadow patterns from an elevated camera position.

Ok, good luck. Photographically this is pretty straight forward but the shadow patterns depend entirely on the glasses used so, without the exact same glasses...

What exactly are you trying to do?

It is not as easy as it looks. The camera angle is weird, the glasses are diferent size, so it is hard to put them in the right spot, and the shadows can be done only by a focused light.
