Restoration of old photos.. where do I go.. or do I just cry.

I found my parents wedding photo.. its in tatters. water damaged and burnt on the edges.I wish I could make it better but I dont have the skill set for that. Do you know someone who can do a restoration? I wasnt sure where to post this one.

Well, never done business with them myself but a quick websearch turned this up:

Photo Restoration, Picture Restoration, Old Digital Photo Reconstruction, Photograph Restoration, Picture Repair, Photo Manipulation, Photo Retouching...

Might be worth giving them a call.

You could try Film Rescue International | Revealers Of Lost And Found Treasures - from what I've heard they are supposed to have a good reputation. There are other photo labs that would do restoration as well, I'm going to PM you a couple of possibilities in your area.

You might not necessarily be able to expect it could be restored to near original quality but it should be salvageable. Good luck.
