Returning from the cinema

We went to see Harry Potter last night and on the way home there was a cracking sunset. The 'fuzzy' effect at the top of the sky is where it is raining, but not enough to stop me getting this shot.

Stunning, can i just ask if you altered the colours?

I've used levels and curves in photoshop which has increased saturation and contrast. Some will say this means I've adjusted the colours.
