Interesting effect the sailboat mast makes. It first looked to me like a tower in the background because you don't see it below the tree line. It took me a minute or so to realize what was going on.

Interesting effect the sailboat mast makes. It first looked to me like a tower in the background because you don't see it below the tree line. It took me a minute or so to realize what was going on.

I think that's because the mast below the tree line is in dimmer light so it isn't going to show up as easily and the darker background doesn't produce any contrast with the mast to help either. I didn't notice that until you pointed it out, it is interesting. I like the effect because it adds to the pic, it says I'm a boat that's moving and docking, not just sitting still like the other boats.
