Good evening fellow forum friends!

I took this pic a few days ago and am looking for some C&C. Anything that comes to mind that is distracting, missing, or anything like that would be useful.

Sorry, I just fixed it. I didn't post it properly the first time.

Cool shot. A look of excitement would have added a lot but it's cool as-is. This would be a great thing to try with kids if they'd cooperate.

I like the idea - its different.
One thing to keep in mind is your framing/composition. Although it isn't a big deal here but do avoid shooting people with body parts such as legs being closer to you the camera then the rest of the face - as you can see legs look bigger here. Imagine if it were a female.
Guys don't care about things like that, girls DO. :)

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. That is true, I personally am not bothered by my gigantic-unproportional legs. I wasn't sure on framing if the feet cut off would bother people. It took quite a few tries to get a pic I liked, and this was my favorite. All of the attempted shots were taken with the camera on a tripod and a wireless remote.

So thats you in the photo? nice idea i like it. So its not spinning very fast then since its on a tripod i assume. looks like its spinning quite fast, so nice job.

My tripod has a setting that allows the legs to go very very wide, without being very tall. I just made it wide enough to use the other metal bars on the merry go round to prevent it from sliding off.

That is me in the photo, It was a medium speed... It could have gone a lot faster or slower, but I could have compensated with shutter speed to make the same effect probably.

The settings for this pic
Shutter Speed- 1/4 second
F/13
ISO 100

That was a really cool idea! I agree with reznap though a look of excitement would have been good but that is still a really cool shot.

Maybe next time I will go for the excited/scared look. I'm sure most photographers are very skeptical about photos of themselves, and I would have felt weird making that face and photographing myself.

There was a lady in a car staring at me for all 20ish attempts, she was probably very very confused about why i was bothering to spin the thing for a still picture.

I hate it when people watch me take pictures.

I really like the photo.

Yeah true that is much easier said then done.

HAHAHA, it is sometimes funny how concerned people get. It sure does get a bit awkward though, when you are laying on the ground and they think you broke a hip or something. They will never understand... But I appreciate their concern, when I do break my hip... their assistance will be useful.

No offense erose, but as a photographer... you should take a cooler pic of yourself for your avatar.
