Riding the big blue curl in the San Diego Sun.

Just wanted to share you with you guys some personal pictures of the kids and I spending a day in the beach a couple of days ago. It was a perfect 81 degrees...blue sky. We didn't want to leave the place go back home to the bay area. The shore breaks were perfect for the kids to go boarding and the intial breaks were about 4-8ft swells....paradise

I love #2 and #6!

#1 I wish the board wasn't cut off.

I only had my 85 prime and didn't want to bring the telephoto during the trip so I was actually in the water(most of the time trying to dodge the waves)during most of these.

#1 - yeah it's somewhat off that part of the board got cut off from the fram when my daughter leaped forward.

I like the 1,6, and 7. I love 7 because it's a family shot, it's sweet. Family is important to me.

Lovely shots! Great deapth of field, colours and clarity. Number 3 is great, such a feeling of motion in a still.

Which beach were you on? It has been fantastic here in SD the past week.

Thanks for the comment! #3 was taken when my daughter was trying to paddle along with the wave but it passed her by.

We were at the belmont park side. You guys have awesome weather.. too bad we only had a couple of days to spare down in SD.
