chris of arabia : i just graduated and am in a transitional period of moving to another country, at the moment i am not making any $$$

mitica ... umm i love mexican and italian... indian food is great too, like trying everything! (am i supposed to take photos or can i just search for photos?).. i dunno if im cooking a meal sometime soon, or having a meal cooked

i used to read like crazy before the photography addiction, i played volleyball in high school and yes i love storms because they are frequently accompanied by rains... and i love that smell of the rain on the sun scorched ground!
What was you favorite subject in school?
i loved english literature, but economics in grade 11 and 12 overtook that... i think the teach was just awesome and thats why i was hooked.

How did you get started in photography?

hi fangman....

photography has always been a big part of me since i was a kid... visuals enticed me, and i was always the picture taken on family vacations...
i was gifted a nikon f75 by my parents about 4 years back and right then i was introduced to photography in my design classes... the guy who came to conduct classes at my institute is now my mentor, critique and guide...
not to sound dramatic, but literally my life turned upside down and design was the last thing i wanted to do when i realised that photography it was... anyway i graduated 2 days back in design(never thought i actually would see this day) with 3 job offers in photography :mrgreen:

im going to new york, in about 2 months time

what did you want to be when you were 5?
At 5 i know i wanted to be a 'designer', i didnt even know the meaning of the word but i guess i was just too influend by my parents workplaces, i did spend a lot of time amidst fashion, color, lots and lots of creativity as a kid... i used to go to my moms office after school and was pampered with boxes of glittery sequins and fabrics lol and barbie dolls :er: (since at the time they manufactured for barbie)
i did find meaning to the term 'design' as i grew up though and made a choice
thank god i didnt graduate in fashion... because thats a complete NO... but i did graduate in communication design
