Waterfronts are normally so busy, this gives it a great contrasting view.

I agree... the picture evokes some serenity for me...But also some lonely feeling...Sitting on that dock at night by yourself looking at that boat could be one of the most depressing feelings. If you're with somebody (as I was) it could be one of the most peaceful and romantic.
