Also, 2mb would likely produce about the same image quality as an 8mm x 11mm negative and would be easier to work with

I snagged my 3.5E Planar for $150 at the local Kiwanis garage sale. It came with a Rollinar Close Up Set #3, and a few other accessories. I didn't even know what they were worth when I bought it. I'd never handled one before, and when I picked it up I fell in love :love:

Of course I just paid $150 for a CLA, so now it's cost me $300, but it's worth every penny.
